VoteLog in a nutshell
On the one hand, VoteLog offers interested organizations a tool to evaluate the voting behavior of the Swiss parliament. On the other hand, VoteLog prepares these evaluations for the public in order to better understand and assess parliamentary decisions.
VoteLog is a non-profit civic tech project. It was made possible by volunteer engagement and a grant from the Swiss Prototype Fund.
Organizations indicate on VoteLog which outcome they would have wished for in individual votes in the Swiss parliament.
These ratings are then matched against the actual voting behavior of the individual parliamentarians and the agreement or disagreement is presented in a ranked list.
Based on this ranking, you may assess the actual voting behavior of your elected representatives and perhaps draw conclusions for the next elections.
